The Story
Anime science fiction action with Kit Ballard, the smart-ass bounty hunter, and her sidekick Skiffy on the road and always in trouble.
Kit’s adventures began as a web comic by me, “Space Captain” Steve Stamatiadis in the early days, before the term was even coined. Later Steve and his team at Krome Studios brought the comic to life as a game that was published by Atari on the Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
The initial release never saw it’s second part but a few years later the whole saga was released as “The Hollow Wish Collection” when Krome got the rights back from Atari.

The Hollow Wish Collection
The Hollow Wish collection contains both the original game and the Episode 2 expansion, as well as a 164-page Blade Kitten comic collection.
Welcome to Hollow Wish… On the surface, it’s your typical lawless frontier. Yet this mysterious shell planetoid is filled with dark secrets and cloaked figures. It’s here that Kit Ballard, aka Blade Kitten, works as one of the best bounty hunters in the business. Don’t let her pink hair fool you, Kit is part cat, part girl, and wholly lethal. She is one of the last of her species, having fled her homeland after the genocide of her people at the hands of the ancient and mystical race known as the Darques.
Kit has since made a name for herself, rounding up some of the most deadly scum in the galaxy. With her unique Darque Blade hovering at her side and obeying her every command, Kit can cut through even the toughest rogue drone while hunting down soft targets to make the planet a safer place to live. Also along for the ride is Skiffy, Kit’s laid-back little sidekick who, when needed, serves as her protector.

The Comics
All the various Blade Kitten comics from the last 20 years have been collected in two HUGE volumes. They contain the sum total of every Blade Kitten comic released and even a lot that didn’t. They’re available in PDF, Kindle and paperback editions.

Blade Kitten: Ultomato
The complete collection of every Blade Kitten comic story and comic page ever drawn. All in one huge tome. Kit attempts to track down a local warlord, Kagemusha but when she discovers his identity it only brings her more trouble as old friends are dragged into the mystery.
She then runs into even more old friends, remembers an older friend and makes new friends – who aren’t quite so friendly and try to Kill her. Not her usual idea of a good night out. Especially when she gets ambushed by Axael and her assassin drones.
It’s not the first time she’s been out-gunned and outnumbered but it may be the last!
Blade Kitten: Ultomatwo
This second collection is of various unfinished B-sides and Ballard’s (see what I did there?)
It’s all the Kit-related comics that I started in the 10 years since the Ultomato Collection. Some of the stories are even finished. On the plus side, you will find quite a nice variety of styles and stories and you do get to see Kit in action.
So, there’s that.
